Downed Muni wire in San Francisco cleared
A Muni wire fell Sunday morning in San Francisco’s Oceanview neighborhood, officials said.
San Francisco officials told motorists and pedestrians to avoid the area of San Jose Avenue and Farallones Street while they fixed the problem.
A support wire in the system seemed to have fatigued, said Paul Rose, a spokesman for Muni.
The wire fell at 11:18 a.m., and the obstruction was cleared around noon, with service back on schedule, Rose said.
