The seventh-seeded Aggies defeated the Tar Heels 86-65 in a West Regional second-round game in Charlotte, N.C., marking the second straight year the titleholder has been bounced from March Madness before the Sweet 16.
“We had a certain togetherness today,” said Texas A&M’s Tyler Davis, who had 18 points and nine rebounds. “We didn’t have the fastest start, but we were together the whole time.
