Pilot, 74, injured in ultralight crash in Valley Ford
A 74-year-old man’s flight in an ultralight aircraft ended with him being taken by helicopter to the hospital after the aircraft crashed Sunday evening in a field off Highway 1 in Valley Ford.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pilot, who was not identified, was alert and oriented but couldn’t remember the crash. He was taken by CHP helicopter to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
