Police patrol cars involved in 2 SF collisions
A pair of San Francisco police patrol cars were involved in crashes Saturday morning, just two blocks apart. Two officers suffered minor injuries, while a third person also was hurt.
The first collision took place around 8:30 a.m. at Arguello and Geary boulevards, damaging a police car and a small Hyundai, police Sgt. Kevin Stancombe said. Two officers and another person were injured.
“At the moment, the injuries don’t seem serious,” Stancombe said.
The second collision, which occurred shortly after at Geary and Third Avenue, involved a police car responding to the first accident. No one was injured in the second crash, Stancombe said.
