Raiders snap counts: WR Michael Crabtree unhappy with usage in finale
At least one veteran Raiders player was unhappy with his playing time in Sunday’s season finale against the Chargers.
Receiver Michael Crabtree played just 17 of a possible 54 snaps in the Raiders’ 30-10 loss at the StubHub Center in Carson. It came after Crabtree had played just 43 percent of offensive snaps against the Eagles on Christmas Day.
Amid questions of whether the Raiders will bring him back next year, Crabtree was targeted five times in the last two games of the season and had two catches for 17 yards. Crabtree didn’t hold back when asked after Sunday’s game if he was frustrated by those numbers.
“Yeah, I mean because if I react then I’m a bad guy,” Crabtree said.
