Its obvious what happened at salford...we went there on a 5 day short turnaround having emptied the tank to beat the best team in the league by a country mile! Just watching Saints it shows how well we played to beat them...we needed to freshen things up like they did making four changed in their forwards...

What Salford cant cope with is pace...makes it more of a headscratcher that when we played them Johnstone and Caton-Brown were both sat in the stands...both whove had success against... Читать дальше...

Barba is a pleasure to watch, without Sky drooling, his balance and awareness are fabulous, there’s nowt on the guy either, 11stone wet through, I really can’t see Saints keeping him longer than this season, unless there is some kind of ban left. They say there is no such thing as a one man team, but this guy energies the Saints, I hope he’s not badly injured, because I for one can’t wait to see how we cope with him. My old school that St Peters at Orrell, I only lived down the road on the then new estate and near to the 'Old Engine' pub. This was in 1965.

I was surprised that they didn't play Rugby League back then at St Peters. Especially surprised after coming from St Cuthberts where they did . So football it was .
