I'm going to guess Hampshire is injured because why else would he be changed for Finn after his performance last week? Seriously starting to question Finn's inclusion. (Probably win us the game with the boot on Sunday now...)

Williams, Bateman and Sutton all seem extremely interested in testing themselves in the NRL, seems strange to consider allowing Sam T to move on when we he is settled and his form is just returning. I am sure the club are negotiating but I feel the Catalan deal would be hard to beat. We could potentially face a testing couple of years losing the likes of SOL (retirement?), Bateman/Sutton/GW (NRL) and Sam. For me I am ready for a new era of directors. I am glad the old guard have gone because frankly anyone who managed to blow 790k of prize money plus normal budget in the 2015/16 season ie close to 1 million needed to realise their failings and Buck up their financial management . Anyone can make wrong decisions ie the shop saga but to sit and watch it fail for 5 years is just plain bonkers. His sending off was for an instinctive and (imo) non-malicious arm, at the back end of the game, thrown out by a tired player who had been 'stepped'. At least it is just the one game and one we were never going to win anyway.

Why would the RFL pay part of Jonny Lomax’s salary to keep him in Super League? No NRL clubs are after him.

It’s not the job of the RFL to be paying part of players wages and the wrong thing to do IMO. It undermines the salary cap, which is supposed to make Super League more competitive.
