Can’t imagine a more pathetic end to the first half backing up a complete disgrace against 12 men in a derby. No doubt fingers will be pointed at individual players like Marsh but no questions of the club hierarchy’s total recruitment disaster. Just my opinion, but I think the two losses over the easter period shows our real standing in the league.
It is also when we will see if Wardy has got what it takes to be a decent coach or if he will go down the Rob Powell path.
The Halifax game is really important, I think it’s a must win otherwise we could start a slide, if we lose next week Rochdale and dewsbury will have us in there sights and the players could start to have confidence issues.

What is it that we lack; that missing X factor, the last piece in the jigsaw that prevents us from becoming the top four side we know that we can be? I live in South East Asia; there are loads of Brits and Aussies here; relatively few of the Brits are into RL but most of the Aussies are into what they call 'footy' (RL).
Most Brits I know have heard of Wakefield Trinity, even if they don't know anything else about RL or the club. Only the RL fans would recognise the Wildcats moniker. Of the Aussies, a few have heard of Wakefield Trinity but even the diehard fans have never heard of the Wildcats.

Jon done. Pitch was muddy, very wey but definitely playable. So correct decision to get it on and well done Hunslet for work they put in.

Great effort. Had a bit of a wobble around 10 minutes either side of half time (couldn't believe Hunslet went for the two) but apart from that, we looked in control.

Johnson and Peltier were outstanding and i thought Wood had his best game.

Mcnallys injury didn't look good.
