Amazon is a clothing powerhouse — just not the way you might imagine.

Though the company is hoping to become the go-to shop for everything high fashion, it mostly sells practical, unglamorous items like work pants and socks.

When Microsoft first released Windows Phone 8.1 on July 11, 2014, the company committed to providing three years of updates and patches.

Now, that time is up.

Ads are coming to Facebook Messenger.

After testing Messenger ads in Australia and Thailand, Facebook announced on Tuesday that any advertiser will be able to buy ads in the app, which boasts 1.2 billion users.

The ads won't be shown in conversations. They will instead exist in the main inbox tab between chat threads.
