A Pennsylvania congressman has accused former President Barack Obama of staying in Washington solely to run a "shadow government" to undermine the GOP agenda.

U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly made the claim to fellow Republicans at an event Saturday north of Pittsburgh.

A video clip posted to YouTube shows Kelly saying that Obama remained in Washington for "one purpose only ... to run the shadow government that is going to totally upset the new agenda."

Alphabet's self-driving car unit on Friday said it would seek a preliminary injunction against Uber in a high-profile intellectual property lawsuit, according to a court filing.

Alphabet's autonomous car unit, Waymo, sued Uber last month, alleging that a former employee downloaded and stole more than 14,000 confidential files, including details on light detection and ranging sensor technology known as Lidar, a crucial element in most self-driving car systems.

Renault's all-electric supercar, dubbed the Trezor, was named the 2016 Concept Car of the Year on Thursday at the Geneva Motor Show. 

The award is sponsored by the trade publication Car Design News, but the winner is chosen by a panel of 20 judges, which includes some of the top car designers in the industry. This year judges came from Hyundai, Nissan, Daimler, and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

The US oil rig count rose for an eighth straight period this week, according to Baker Hughes. 

Eight oil rigs were activated, taking the total to 617 and to the highest level since September 25, 2015. The gas rig count increased by five to 151. One miscellaneous rig was taken offline, and so the combined count increased by 12 to 768.
