NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Saturday alleged that the Centre transferring the probe into the Koregaon Bhima violence case to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) showed police had misused their powers and arrested innocent citizens. J&K: Pulwama mastermind among 3 terrorists killed

Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM)’s Kashmir chief and Pakistani terrorist, Qari Yasir, and two of his associates were killed in an anti-insurgency operation in Tral of Awantipora, in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, on Saturday, 15 Corps commander Lt Gen KJS Dhillon said. An equal number of soldiers were also injured in the encounter, the second one in Awantipora this week.
