Aurora man pleads guilty in crash that killed schoolgirl
ST. CHARLES, Ill. (AP) — A 26-year-old from suburban Chicago has pleaded guilty in connection with an accident that killed 9-year-old Katie Jonak as she returned to her Aurora home from a play rehearsal last year. Prosecutors say Anthony S. Potochney's (poe-TOCH'-neez) car was going 85 mph in Aurora one year ago when it veered into the wrong lane and struck a minivan driven by Jonak's mother.
