Bicyclist, 58, killed in collision with truck on I-495 ramp

METHUEN, Mass. (AP) — Massachusetts State Police say a man on a motorized bicycle was killed in a collision with a truck on an Interstate 495 ramp in Methuen (mih-THOO'-uhn). Police say the crash happened around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday when the bicycle left the sidewalk and moved into the roadway, hitting the passenger side of the truck. Police say 58-year-old Thomas Fazio, of Methuen, died at the scene. The driver, whose name has not been released, stayed and cooperated with officers. The death remains under investigation.
