Syfy may have cancelled Dark Matter, but it's officially renewed Killjoys for two final seasons. Each season has a 10 episode order, giving the show 20 episodes total to wrap up its story after tonight's Season 3 finale. Dark Matterisn't coming back on Syfy. The comic-book space drama has been canceled after three seasons and 39 episodes, TV Guide has learned. The series aired it's Season 3 finale last week and it will retroactively serve as the show's series finale. Dark Matter was created by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, who also wrote the comic books the show was based on. La La Land director Damien Chazelle's follow-up to his Oscar-winning (and losing) musical will be The Eddy, a musical drama series on Netflix, the streaming service announced Friday. Famed comedian Shelley Berman has died. He was 92 years old. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he passed away early Friday morning in his California home after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A U.S. judge on Thursday struck down a Utah law that landed a movie theater in trouble for serving alcohol during the racy superhero film "Deadpool." U.S. District Judge David Nuffer said state regulators violated Brewvies' freedom of speech when it threatened to fine the theater up to $25,000 under a law that prohibits serving booze during films with simulated sex or full-frontal nudity. OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. (AP) — The late actress Katharine Hepburn's home along the Connecticut shore has sold for $11.5 million after several years on the market. William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty agent Colette Harron says the 8,400-square-foot (781-sqare-meter) home in Old Saybrook sold Aug. 25.
