Leeds Rhinos - southstander.com • McGuire

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Apparently we’ve tried to get McGuire back for the rest of the season.

Probably better than anything we have but seems a tad desperate to me, or are we that desperate?

Take the Tommy L tackle on Austin, which if allowed would have resulted in a Wigan try, but after numerous views of the video ref, it was deemed technically a knock on, although it was very harsh on Wigan, going by the laws it was probably the correct decision.

Yet in the studio, Wilkin... Читать дальше...

Maybe Leeds could follow our lead and not throw money at overseas deadbeats. Just a thought.

Bradford Bulls - RedAmberandBlack.net • 1895 fixture congestion

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

So according to Mick the result of this weekends challenge cup game means we now have an away fixture at barrow to play on the Tuesday after we play fax in the cup. With a championship game at the following weekend.

Halifax similarly have to play mid week in their 1895 cup match.

If the winner of our challenge cup game wins their 1895 match they have another mid week 1895 cup game to play in the week after the challenge cup semi final - unless they win it in which case their 1895 cup opponent gets a bye into the final. Читать дальше...

One thing for sure is that he’s certainly not done that. He went to get his boot under him and from the replays in the stadium it looked totally inconclusive if he’d got it down or not. In that case it stays with the decision given by the ref but today that wasn’t the case.

As I say that’s from live viewing in the stadium, so I’ll give it another watch when I get chance and it’ll probably loom totally different. Читать дальше...

It's been said. Pattons pass to Atkins was top draw.
So he switched off for 1 minute.
Chill out. Job done.

Wigan Warriors - wiganrugbyfans.com • Warrington

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Lots of effort and some good quality but basic errors let us down.

On the plus side some really nice rugby and intensity in defence. Hardaker and Leuluai were great, O'Loughlin had his best game in a while. The forwards were able to compete which was good to see.

Sarginson had a shocker (always seems to take a while to get going after a spell out of the team). The Navarette knock on and Flower penalty were both dumb as was the Hardaker kick to touch. Tautai's marker defence again let us down. Читать дальше...

Ok Navarette made a big error at the end but do not blow it out of proportion. Several others made errors during the game. If you think that he cost us the game you are wrong. Warrington had the whip hand, they were in front and we were playing catch up. No one is blaming Gildart and Budgie for not scoring at the end are they?
