One thing it might be worth checking out is whether you can just pay cash at a designated turnstile or whether you have to first buy a ticket (on the night) from the ticket office.

This might also be worth checking too in terms of getting your lad a student discount ticket too (£16 rather than £22) on production of student ID/NUS card etc.

Again not sure if you can just do this at the turnstile or whether you need to buy a concession ticket at the ticket office.

Wakefield have named a strong squad, cant see anything but an away win aswell. Our squad looking depleted already but on a plus Anderson and Moa are back so they should be able to stop Pauli Pauli and Fifita running riot.

The Bookies have got wakefield at evens with a minus 1.5 handicap for anyone wanting to make it a win/lose situation.

Hooker/Dummy half is such an important position Kear obviously wants more experience there. Toovey was of the same mind last year when he brought Moore in.

I think Hallas will still figure a bit at hooker but I can see him mainly fighting it out with Milton for the loose forward spot. Butterworth is still very young and could be the longer term successor. I think Vila will be cover for Flanagan.

Reading yesterday's press conference with MC and one of our sponsors, new 6 year deal. In the article it mentions (hopefully) Wakefield Community Stadium is imminent I maybe reading too much into but hopefully a good sign.

It's being reported the the Championship and Championship 1 teams are meeting today. One item on the agenda is reported to be turning C1 amateur. It is not know what support this proposal has.

Could have some major ramifications for Southern RL. It's difficult to see much of a player pathway existing down south if this happens
