It's a case of hoping for hammerings every week to get rid of McNamara as quickly as possible.

Only 2 NRL games a week on Sky? That is a very poor deal for rugby league fans. Premier Sports used to show 8 games a week.

Don't think any of the SL teams have anything to worry about in the middle 8s. If we're having them that is. Looked like 2 bang average Championship teams. Quite fancy Batley after watching that!

For anyone going to Phnom Penh Cambodia, I found a sports pub on the corner of 136 Street and Riverside (red light district) which has Sentata on its satellite and shows all European sports. Super League is a possibility, and perhaps NRL, if you ask nicely in advance.

Can’t help a wry smile to see his team get their butts kicked by Widnes this afternoon. Worst coach in super league by a country mile. How he managed a three year gig down there beggars belief. What had he ever done to deserve that? I have never forgiven him for taking us to court and trying to screw us over.
Ladies and gentlemen I give you the first managerial casualty of the season............. or at least I hope so

Not a lot of negatives to be honest.
But on the positives, the squad look lean and fit, dragon notably looks to have lost a few pounds. Api was not meant missed, meadows played very well in his place, Sid made an impact when he was on the park and his defence was solid, Lovell looks pretty good as well. fitness has obviously been a focus in pre season and Tackle technique has improved massively.
Negatives! Barrow really did try to slow the PTB down, but rather than just trying to place the foot and stand up we allowed em to succeed... Читать дальше...
Well the halves certainly did decide it. We made one chance all game they made about 12.
Positives. ......commitment was good. Wil Sharpe was excellent . Foster very good.
Negatives . We need at least 1 new Half back or move Woody there. Centre from Cas please.
You can't win if you can't score. But I remain positive that it can be fixed.

I respect your opinion and views on the coming season, myself while I agree it should be a great Comp this year,I think we will dominate the League this year, we will lose a game somewhere along the way, where I don't know, but our strength in depth, full time fitness ,and skill and power will see us boss 90% of most games.
We don't seem to have weakness anywhere on the pitch, the Bookies make us 1 -4 to win the League, and for me Fev will finish 2nd,they are a strong... Читать дальше...

No need to go one. Your point is not well taken. You are confusing a small town (Wigan) and its suburbs, with a big city (in London's case a giant city). The Borough of Wigan has just over three hundred thousand people. Greater London has over 8.63 million people. The districts of London such as Chelsea, Tottenham, that you mention are at least as big as, if not bigger than, Wigan town (which is just over 100,000). Tiny Leigh is barely deserving of its own post office, let alone a rugby league team. Читать дальше...

Looks like tremendous Toronto, despite a poor preseason preparation, have decisively defeated lowly Leigh on Leigh's home ground. The Canadian club was only recently reeling from the sacking of three top quality forwards, This performance today suggests that Toronto are favourites for promotion to Super League on their merits in a P & R match if such a game is to take place. Otherwise no one can moan if the club is promoted on the basis of election under a new franchising system, should one be established. Читать дальше...
