Oprah Winfrey's empire just got even bigger — she just picked up an 8,700-square-foot mountain home in Telluride, Colorado. 

According to Zillow, she paid $14 million for the property, which previously belonged to tech executive Bob Wall. 

The home has five bedrooms and is packed with smart home features.

The Federal Reserve has finally ended the seven-year long era of zero-interest rate policy, raising the target for the benchmark fed funds rate to between 0.25% and 0.5%.

THR has learned that Caitlyn and Sawyer will reteam in 2016 for a one-year follow-up. Sources say it most likely won't be at the exact same time of year.

Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen has taken the mic after the Fed elected to raise interest rates for the first time since June 2006. 

The Fed on Wednesday increased its target interest rate corridor to 0.25%-0.50% from 0%-0.25% exactly seven years to the day from when the Fed put its zero-interest rate policy in place during the depths of the recession.

Mike Cagney, the CEO of fintech startup SoFi, wants to lend you money, and he couldn't care less what your credit score is.

"We ignore FICO as an input because it’s just not meaningful," he told Business Insider.

BALTIMORE (Reuters) - A Maryland judge declared a mistrial on Wednesday in the trial of Baltimore police officer William Porter, who was charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of detainee Freddie Gray.
