My time line experience with covid
Tue the 7th of April 2020. Sat out in the garden and had a drink. Was a sunny day so got some good sun.
Wed 8th. Woke up early feeling very hot, skin feeling prickly heat and a headache (almost like a migraine, as I do suffer classic migraines). Drank about 2 pints of diluted juice.
At first I thought it might of been because of spending too much time in the sun and drinking alcohol, E.G. Headache brought on from dehydration and the heat from too much sun. Lay in bed for a few more hours. Got up later and the heat was subsiding, but I still had this familiar feeling
that felt like a cold coming on, but no pains and felt better. Did not eat much all day. Mouth felt drier than usual. Later at night, I finished my cider about 3 pints then went to bed.
Thur 9th. Woke up early again (mild sweating) and drank more diluted juice (another 2 pints) then went back to sleep till the afternoon. Still had the headache and some new body/muscle pains in mid back area on both sides (due to laying in bed so long?) But no heat and no prickliness of skin. Again did not eat much, did not feel hungry.
As the day went on, started to have mild joint/muscle pains throughout the body and started to feel bloated. Loose and small stools (from not eating much) and a pronounced stiffness in neck. Did some breathing exercises that relieved the sore back muscles when I breathed, and did some neck stretches to loosen stiff neck. Later into the evening I felt similar symptoms of a cold coming on (below the Adams apple and in the breast area). But it did not hurt inside the lung when I breathed or smoked like a common cold would. Pain felt like the common cold but on the outside of the throat/lung bronchial? Hard to describe...
Still had a dry mouth and throat, but was still coughing up mucus (normal amount for me as a smoker). Had cider and later went to bed.
Fri 10th. Again, woke up early and drank more diluting juice, another 2 pints. Lay in bed for a few more hours. Day was a repeat of Thursday except no neck/back pains and the bloated feeling was gone. But body muscles/joints and head still hurt (head less severe, but still painful when coughing) and still did not feel hungry, but did eat small amounts of food because I knew I needed to (like previous days).
Again, in the evening drank some cider and went to bed.
Sat 11th. Woke up early and got more diluted juice, another 2 pints. Still felt the usual symptoms in the chest/bronchial areas. Head still hurt when coughing but not as much. Because of waking, mucus production started like normal and coughed up the usual amount for a smoker. Went back to sleep but slept light. Got up a few hours later and noticed big improvement in the chest and throat areas, also the headache when coughing has noted improvement. Slight pain in lower back (due to sitting at computer for long periods of time perhaps?)
Notes to take from my personal experience. It comes on suddenly and it does cause a lot of joint and muscle pain throughout the body, and a bursting headache that lasted 4 days for me. The heat and headache was the first signs for me and feels like a cold/flu starting in the throat/chest but did not go further than that for me
It's how fast it tried to take hold that scared me. Like a cold on steroids. But even though I live a moderate lifestyle, my body seems to have beat it in 4 days.
