Animal Crossing New Horizons: How to Craft The Money Flooring
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is loaded with creative DIY ways to decorate your house and nothing is more lavish-looking than the Money Flooring.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is filled with hundreds of custom DIY furniture, outfits, wallpaper, and flooring options to truly customize a player's world. One of these custom flooring options is a giant pile of cash. Money Flooring is the best way to truly show off a player's wealth and also goes great for a spare room to store turnips in. Crafting the flooring isn't very difficult at all but will require that a player has a few Bells to throw around.
The Money Flooring in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is, so far, only available as a DIY recipe that a player will need to find and then craft themselves. Unlike most other flooring options, which can usually be purchased from Nook's Cranny or a special visit from the rug vendor Saharah. Since it is not easily available, the recipe will require a little luck in finding it.
Finding the DIY Recipe for the Money Flooring is like any other in Animal Crossing, mostly luck. It can be found randomly on the player's shoreline inside a message in a bottle. Player's should run across their entire shoreline every day to find the message in the bottle that usually washes up. Players never know what will be in that bottle but it will always be a DIY Recipe. Whenever a bottle is picked up, just open it up in the pocket menu and enjoy a little note from a castaway, there will be a random DIY recipe added to the player's pocket after reading.
Once the Money Flooring recipe is found, it will need to be crafted. The ingredients needed to craft the flooring is 50,000 Bells. Bring your new DIY recipe to the nearest crafting station and get to work. Bells won't automatically be considered in a player's inventory when crafting. Adding Bells to the player's pocket requires you click on the Bells icon in the pocket menu, this will open a new menu that allows the player to pull out a certain amount of Bells. Pull out 50,000 Bells into a money bag and load up the crafting station to craft the Money Flooring.
50,000 Bells may seem like a lot but it pales in comparison to the bragging rights a player will have by scattering money all over their floor.
Animal Crossing New Horizons is available on the Nintendo Switch.
