In Private Meeting, Facebook Exec Warns News Outlets to Cooperate or End Up Dying in 'Hospice'

During a secretive off-the-record meeting last week with more than 20 Australian media companies and news publishers, top Facebook executive Campbell Brown reportedly warned that refusal to cooperate with the social media giant's efforts to "revitalize journalism" will leave news outlets dying "like in a hospice."
