JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — The superintendent of a Tennessee school district has been named as the new superintendent for Madison County Schools in Mississippi. The Clarion Ledger reports that Kimber Halliburton's new role was announced Wednesday. She was unanimously selected by the Madison County School Board. Halliburton is the superintendent of Washington County Schools in Tennessee, where she was recognized for exceeding student growth expectations.
