Indie distributor The Orchard said on Friday that it’s nabbed U.S. distribution rights for award-winning documentary “The Dawn Wall.” The film, which took home the audience award at South By Southwest, presents an inside look at the historic 3,000 foot climb in Yosemite National Park attempted by American rock climbers Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson in January 2015. “The Dawn Wall” was directed by Josh Lowell and Peter Mortimer, and produced by Red Bull Media House in association with Sender Films. After missing his flight from Melbourne to Adelaide, Australia, on Thursday, a 57-year-old man took matters into his own hands by running out onto the tarmac and attempting to rip open the door of a nearby Jetstar plane. When he was unsuccessful at prying it open with his hands, he began kicking at the locked entry until airport security eventually restrained him, 9NEWS reports.

SACRAMENTO – Two Florida men accused of running an extortion scheme using the website Mugshots.com saw their own police photos released online Wednesday.
