Animal house! Buildings around the world made to look like all sorts of creatures from cats to koalas
Not content with designing conventional buildings, imaginative architects across the world have been creating structures shaped like animals.
Pet-lovers can visit hotels, churches and museums resembling dogs, cats and even elephants while on their travels, the Daily Mail reports.
The awe inspiring structures, designed by a variety of animal enthusiasts, can be found in countries such as the United States, India and Germany.
One of the oldest animal structures is Lucy, a 65ft elephant in New Jersey, which was built in 1881 as a landmark for the town of Margate.
Meanwhile the Trojan Horse hotel room in Durbuy, Belgium, even has its own lowering bridge, with each room following a fantasy theme.
Other animal buildings include the Big Sheep in New Zealand, a former wool and craft shop, the Giant Koala tourist complex in Australia, The Big Duck, a duck shop in New York and The Cat School in Germany.
