Armenian DM gives public talk for summer school attendees
Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan on Tuesday delivered a public lecture on the Armenian army’s history for the participants of a Yerevan-hosted summer school
The minister dwelled particularly on different episodes of the independent statehood’s army-building, introducing the audience to its national and military components. He also addressed the Nagorno-Karabakh liberation war, according to a press release by the Ministry of Defense.
“The national characteristic is that we managed to attain success thanks to the Armenian nation’s unity, power and consolidation. The army developed a management system, strengthening discipline,” he said.
Ohanyan further cited commanders’ personal success stories and knowledgeability as good precedents.
At the end, he also responded to the participants.
Entitled “Military History”, the summer school was launched on July 1 to offer participants an opportunity to meet with military experts, historians and analysts and gain profound knowledge in military arts and military industries.
