Cal WR Austin Aaron retires from football
Austin Aaron has decided to retire from football and focus on school, the Cal wide receiver announced Thursday on Twitter.
“I know people will say you are giving up a dream, but I have found different dreams and passions that I promise I will pursue with everything I got,” Aaron wrote.
A three-star recruit coming out of Napa High School, Aaron redshirted last season.
Though the Bears lost their top six receivers from last year, Aaron was still listed fourth at one of the outside receiver spots on the preseason depth chart.
