Officers penalized for taking recruits to play 'Pokemon Go'
(AP) — Two officers in a suburban Denver police department that's under federal investigation are no longer allowed to train recruits after taking them to play "Pokemon Go" instead of teaching them. The Denver Post reports (http://dpo.st/2bvWrij ) that a pair of Commerce City officers were removed from field training duties last week after their superiors found they were playing the popular game that involves searching for virtual creatures in real-world locations.
