Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Elliot drop affiliation plans

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Two New Hampshire hospitals are dropping their plans to pursue an affiliation. Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health and Elliot Health System began working on a formal agreement in May but officials said Friday both sides have agreed to end that effort. Instead, the two organizations will continue to find ways to work together to serve their communities. The Dartmouth-Hitchcock system includes Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, a 400-bed facility in Lebanon. Elliot Hospital in Manchester has 300 beds.

New Ohio college scholarship grows in value each year
