SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say two people are dead after being exposed to drain opener chemicals at a southwest Florida home. The Herald-Tribune (http://goo.gl/mSzzfG ) reports that Sarasota detectives continue to investigate the deaths of the 78-year-old woman and her 58-year-old son. One reportedly died at the scene, and the other died later at a nearby hospital. The county's hazmat team responded to the home Monday morning after a family member found the two people unconscious. Spokeswoman Kelly Thornton of the U.S. attorney's office in the Southern District of California said Taylor is charged with transmitting wagering information and participating in an illegal gambling business.
