George Clayton Johnson, the sci-fi novelist, comic book writer and TV scriptwriter who wrote the first script for the first episode of Star Trek, died at 86 Friday, Deadline reports.
In 1967, his script "The Man Trap" became the first aired episode of the original Star Trek, which saw the Enterprise crew killing a shape-shifting parasite.
