Who will breakout (take their game to another level) next season and can we get any of them?

Most of these guys are 23-25 years old and because of a departure on their team or commonly a trade to another team, their role increases and their career takes off.

I think ERod is one such candidate. If he wins a job as Jacks LW, I can see him hitting 50 pts next year.

Some things never change. Beckham will not be bending it in the next LA Galaxy match. He has been suspended for "provocative behavior", which earned him a yellow card. That warning put him over the magic number and was suspended due to yellow card accumulation.

Went to my first Beauts game of the season yesterday.  I was thoroughly entertained (as I was the last two seasons).  That team and its league deserve more attention.

A good friend and I watched *Tooth Fairy* last evening.

He got it for his kids to watch in 2010.  It was really good, surprisingly enough.  A hockey themed tooth fairy tale.  Two grown men with tears in their eyes at the happy ending.

Would it make sense to trade the first pick for a known superstar (Karlsson)? The guy likely still has 5-6 more great years ahead of him. Even though Dahlin looks like a lock to become a foundational player, there's been others with that reputation who didn't pan out. With Karlsson, you know what you're getting. I'm thinking Ottawa would need to pick up some of his salary in order for Buffalo to be able to fit in under the cap.

The numbers don't support my feeling of home ice dread for a deciding seventh game. According to Wikipedia, there have been 171 Game 7s since the advent of the best of seven series in 1939, and the home team has won 100 times.

I mentioned I was in the Queen City yesterday. Did I see a picture of Cellino of Cellino and Barnes on a Cellino Plumbing truck? Twin? Side gig?

No matter what happens and how upset it makes you, there are no possible outcomes that are legitimate evidence that the Draft Lottery is rigged. 

The only thing that can happen to constitute proof would be an impossibility - Toronto winning, as an example. Or the Denver Broncos. 

If you were forced to read an analysis of an average-to-great defenseman group, similar to how I looked at Carolina's team last season, but now looking at defense specifically and measuring different things, which team's defense would you prefer to learn more about? Asking for a friend.

OFFICIAL: We've signed defenseman Lawrence Pilut. Pilut led all Swedish Hockey League defensemen with 38 points in 52 games last season for @hv71 and was named 2017-18 SHL Defenseman of the Year.

Whats everyone's thoughts on how the roseter will look next season taking into account the following:

So I was wrong and he will never be a NHL center. That said, what the hell happened with this guy after December? He flipped a switch and was fine. Reinhart is fine. He's never going to be fast, but he is quick. I think he looks faster than ROR for example. What do we do with him? Do we keep him or trade him? Is he the best RW we have and how do we value that?
