It's an indication that although it was a poor season, we actually finished the season in reasonable form. Given a fairly decent set of results towards the end of the season one could project some optimism onto next season.
I guess the form league indicates that Leeds were doing much better after Agar stated getting his message across, and Sinfield weeded out the bad apples and replaced them with better players.
As an optimist I would say that all of that makes me hopeful we'll have a better season next time out... Читать дальше...

I agree.
Signing the best player from a really poor team is often better than signing a couple of players from a team that plays really well together. London were definitely a case of the sum of the parts being better than the individual players.
Saying that, Walker and Pitts are decent players. In a team that has done really well as a well drilled team, surely bringing the captain over is going to help us.

Ok so a Challenge Cup Final win so some silverware but ultimately a club with our resources should be aiming for top spot and a GF win.
More to the point, our style of play has been nothing short of clueless. If we are to be held in the same respect as Wigan. Saints and Leeds then our mindset needs to change.
Our pack needs an overhall with too many living off previous seasons accolades.
Ratchford, Clark, Austin and Philbin - Superb
Akouala, Charnley, BMM, Cooper, Currie and Hughes - Decent even if inconsistent. Читать дальше...
Pitts is a good signing very hard working will tackle a brick wall and runs some good lines, Same the lad has had to wait another 10 years to come back .
Walker could be a very good signing,Very good under the high ball and as got good pace just needs a bit more meat on him
The rest whoever there are hopefully bed in well.

Featherstone Edge Closer to Play-Off Final with York Victory
Two sides with contracting fortunes in the opening week of the play-offs came together for a sudden death eliminator at Bootham Crescent, as the York City Knights took on a Featherstone Rovers side who outplayed Leigh Centurions last weekend.
Featherstone comprehensively won two of the three meetings between the two sides in 2019, although it was the City Knights who won the most recent encounter, by a narrow 22-18 scorline. Читать дальше...

Agree with everything said above. Great strong running forward who gave his all. 100% effort every time and longest serving Trinity player to boot. Good luck at Dewsbury.

I think we are way past denial and have moved on to acceptance that we are unlikely to win it.
I think the normal saints posters on here have called a Wigan win.
So unless you listen to the trolls then we know that our team has a tendancy to get squeaky arses come knockout games.

You knew that'd happen. Criminal not to win that game.
It's clear teams aren't going to attack us at home, so I'd play 2 strikers.

Hicks literally made up a rule when giving a penalty for Gildart rubbing a player's head. It isn't sportsmanlike and I don't particularly like it but its been going on for years - was only because it caught a bit of publicity last week that it was penalised.

Nothing but good things to say about DK. He's played through the pain barrier countless times and proved himself a real warrior. Really pleased with next years arrangement!
