Update from 8th October:
One of our colleagues attended the WMDC Cabinet Meeting in Ossett this week. The meeting was attended by around a dozen Wakefield supporters, anxious to find out the latest from WMDC regarding the recent Planning Application from Yorkcourt / Henry Boot regarding the proposed Kitwave facility at Newmarket

The question was asked during the Cabinet meeting, however Cllr Box refused to answer, other than suggesting that the council and club were in ‘sensitive negotiations’... Читать дальше...

I'll be honest I'm still to be convinced by our halves for next year. A Tongan whose not played first grade for months, an untried 18yr old and Myler, who despite been our player of the year (not saying much) hasn't really impressed me.

A centre partnership of Watkins and O'Neil would be sensational for us
O'Neil runs fantastic lines in attack and is also very hard to stop close to the line although he does make the occasional defensive miss

With Lolohea,Myler and also young McLelland in the halves that is some serious pace in attack,its just a question of who is going to do the organising/game management role?

I would also be happy with a fully fit Fensom too as he would add some much needed steel and resilience to our defence

Sadly, i cant see anything but a Warrington win. I think we will start well but I think they will be too big and powerful and we will run out of steam and end up pinned in our own half for set after set unless we can somehow find some decent kicks to turn them around. I just cant see us winning this one.

Its a long shot but Seetickets have sent someone elses tickets to me as well as my own. Being honest i have reported it and been told to destroy them. If you have ordered 4 tickets in block n1408 row mm and not received them it might be worth contacting them sooner rather than later.

Does anyone have a clue whether this is still taking place tonight please? Club advertised and sold me tickets on Sunday night but have not sent me any e-tickets and have since pulled the tickets from the club shop. Not a peep out of the club on this since Sunday. Any intelligence appreciated.

Agree with the poster above, unless we are struggling for wingers due to injuries Newman shouldn’t play wing. When he plays 1st team next season it should be in the centre.
