This is it. The battle for 12th (or 11th in our case if we get a big slice of luck).

The difference between finishing 11th and 13th is £3.8m or something stupid, so I'm sure we'll see a strong line-up. Can't say I'm too bothered as a fan, but if it means an extra signing in the summer then I guess we may as well go for it.

It's approaching the end of the season. Obviously, we're always looking to improve our squad. Hopefully, you don't think this thread is started too early.

Who do you think should leave/be replaced and also, which position(s) do you think we need the most improvement in? Any particular new player you think our team really needs?

Starting off, I think we need someone new to rotate with Firmino and Robertson.

Just asking if anyone is in the know here, to cut a long story short this is my 5th week off work with my back, getting £94.50 a week sick pay and tonight would be the last night of my 4 on and my back is feeling quite a bit better so I’m tempted to go back in for my last night.
Thing I’m unsure about is if I will still get sick pay for the previous 3 nights or do you have to have full week off (or in my case the full 4 nights) to get sick pay, because if not then it’s not worth going in for...

It’s completely wrong in my opinion, not enough reward for finishing in a higher league place. I’m a 3 up 3 down man anyhow but if you have to have play offs the league must change the rules to reward the higher achievers.

I’d do it like this.

3rd placed team automatically qualify for the final so only have to play one game.

5th placed team should be at home to the 6th placed team in a one off match, with the winner playing away to the 4th placed team in another one off match. Читать дальше...

Rory Watson - Keep, will do alright in L2

Jak Alnwick - will go back to Rangers

Jon Flatt - Let go

Adam Kelsey - keep

Jordan Clarke - keep despite being awful when he signed not a bad FB

Cameron BJ - will go back to Man Utd and probably be released

Tony McMahon - would sign if possible

Was Higuain a pointless move in January?
Was Ghendouzi a better buy than Torreira?

For us:
Maddison - Great buy, took the step up comfortably. Still a lot to learn, like not to dive or at least how to do it better!
Pereira - One of the best attacking fullbacks in the league who will only get better now Rodgers is here.
