Whilst sat in a hospital waiting room earlier, I caught a game on the radio which I thought might work as an on-going forum game on here. Obviously the radio game involved prize money, whereas this will simply be about pride at a time when your football team is probably letting you down.

So we made it. I think we deserve our spot in the biggest domestic cup game in world football and this game certainly deserves its own thread! Win or lose, just getting there means so much to anyone associated with the club.

City can definitely be got at so I don't think we go into it as complete outsiders but a lot of it will depend on what state they are in mentally and physically. To be in with a good chance of winning the quadruple at this stage is simply phenomenal, I just hope this...

PLAYER OF THE YEAR?

I hope we have a good go. We may not be Ajax but we have a decent amount of pace and quick feet on our day. They're obviously short on freshness at the moment with this sandwiched by their massive European games. They do need a result given the tightness of that top 4 run-in, and they're battered us many times before. But as long as we can approach it like we care, rather than strolling around as sometimes we've done in recent weeks, perhaps we can do something here?

Really wish there wasn't a glimmer of hope going into this game. Just another false dawn, the referees against Derby and Villa in two massive games decided our fate.

Big one for the visitors and I wouldn't be opposed to them finishing 6th come the end of the day, but it would be a wee bit funny if we ruined their season again

Bury have already achieved promotion with their draw in midweek. Port Vale have been safe from relegation for a few weeks. Nothing to play for here, but plenty to celebrate for both clubs at differing ends of the scale.
