• Chinese state media on Thursday accused the United States of a "mobster mentality" in its move to implement additional tariffs on Chinese goods.

Die USA haben Sanktionen gegen Russland wegen des Anschlags auf den russischen Ex-Agenten Sergej Skripal und dessen Tochter angekündigt. Die USA hätten festgestellt, dass Russland bei dem Anschlag auf Skripal in Großbritannien Nervengift eingesetzt habe, sagte eine Sprecherin des US-Außenministeriums am Mittwoch. Damit habe Russland gegen das Völkerrecht verstoßen. Die Sanktionen würden um den 22. August herum in Kraft treten.
