Most investors respect Merck CEO Kenneth Frazier's decision to resign from US President Donald Trump's manufacturing council, a move that preceded the outflow of other executives and led to the eventual disbanding of two panels mostly made up of business leaders.That's according to a BMO Capital Markets analysts' note, which we first spotted thanks to CNBC's Meg Tirrell.

Amazon got a pretty sweet deal on its recent $16 billion debt financing.

The deal was so good, in fact, that a chunk of it ended up being better than what the governments of Russia, Mexico, Greece, Chile and China could've gotten, according to a report from Quartz's John Detrixhe.

Warby Parker is giving away free solar eclipse glasses. 

The eyeglasses chain is giving away eclipse glasses at all of its 44 locations. All you have to do is head to a store and ask for up to two pairs of eclipse glasses.

The Trump administration will continue to fund critical Obamacare payments for the month of August despite the president's repeated threat to yank them.

The White House confirmed on Wednesday that the cost sharing reduction (CSR) payments would continue to go to insurers to help offset the cost of providing poorer Americans with lower out-of-pocket costs.
