WASHINGTON/BEIRUT (Reuters) - The U.S. military is investigating reports that an air strike near Manbij, Syria, on Thursday caused civilian casualties, U.S. Central Command said in a statement.

The U.S.-led coalition fighting Islamic State militants conducted air strikes in the area in the last 24 hours, the statement said.

Mickelson's second round at the PGA Championship got off to a horrible start when his opening drive on the first hole went out of bounds and then bounded down a side street, never to be seen again.

If you look closely, you can see the ball bouncing down the side street that leads away from the course.

Amazon disclosed in its latest quarterly filing that it discovered an additional sales of products worth $120,000 to Iranian government officials.

Some of those transactions were covered by US regulations that prohibit transactions with people or entities connected with the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and terrorism, Amazon acknowledged in the filing.

NASA is one step closer in its mission to “touch” the sun. Last week, it announced that the Solar Probe Plus mission had passed a huge milestone, keeping it on track for a 2018 launch.

The Solar Probe Plus mission will start with the launch of a spaceship that will complete 24 orbits of the sun. Then, after completing seven flybys of Venus to get closer and closer, the spacecraft will dive into the corona, or the outer atmosphere of the sun.

On Friday, the new Opening Ceremony outfits, which the team will wear during the parade into Rio de Janeiro's Maracanã Stadium on August 5, were unveiled.
