Box reported a better than expected earnings on Wednesday but the stock is taking a beating in after hours trading thanks to soft guidance.

here's what Box reported for the first quarter of its 2017 fiscal year, which ended April 30:

• Record revenue of $90 Million, up 37% over the year ago quarter. That beat the street's expectations by $1.5 million.
• EPS, of -$0.18 which beats by $0.06.

Automakers reported May US sales on Wednesday, and almost every one posted a drop from the same month a year ago.

In fact, the only member of the Detroit Big Three to post a gain was Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, which logged an increase of 1%.

IBM said on Wednesday it will acquire EZSource, an Israel-based application discovery company, to help developers modernize mainframe applications for digital business.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

IBM, which has made 13 other acquisitions of Israeli companies since 1998, said the planned purchase is expected to close in the second quarter subject to completion of governmental review.
