A’s prospect Matt Chapman out with wrist injury
Matt Chapman, one of the A’s top prospects, left Triple-A Nashville’s game Friday night with a wrist injury incurred on a checked swing, The Chronicle has learned. Chapman, 23, missed much of the 2015 season with a wrist injury. He is expected to be re-evaluated Saturday, according to A’s director of player development Keith Lieppman, who described Friday’s injury as a “tweaked” wrist.
