Southern Charm: Why Shep Rose Reunited With Cameran This Month
Shep Rose and Cameran Eubanks used to be very close, but Cameran left the show. Earlier this month, they decided to spend time together.
Shep Rose from Southern Charm and show alum Cameran Eubanks got together earlier this month, after not seeing each other for a long time, and we've found out why they decided to reunite. Because her priorities in life had shifted, the mother of one left the series right before filming for season seven began. Cameran had recently become a mother and wanted to focus on her family rather than a reality TV show. Shep nearly left the series when Cameran decided to exit, but ultimately decided to stay, as he wanted to prove to viewers that he'd evolved as a person since they last saw him on Southern Charm.
Shep and Cameran first met prior to filming Southern Charm season one. He thought he had a shot at dating her, but Cameran was already dating her now-husband Jason Wimberly, who is a doctor. Once they began filming, Shep and Cameran hit it off as friends. Cameran would often give Shep dating advice and he would always listen to what she had to say. Fans loved their friendship, and they miss the brother-and-sister type of vibe that they brought to Southern Charm. Although they aren't actually related, Shep loves Cameran like a sister and looks up to her.
On May 6, Shep Rose shared a photo to Instagram of him and Cameran at lunch with their significant others. The South Carolina native brought his long-time girlfriend, account executive Taylor Ann Green, while the author brought her husband. "I hadn’t seen @camwimberly1 in person in over a year and @tayloranngreen hadn’t ever met her," the reality star began his caption, noting that he and Cameran did FaceTime together when she was in the bathtub. He joked she "may or may not have exposed a nipple." To go from spending several months out of the year together filming Southern Charm to not seeing each other in over a year can be tough on a friendship. It was time for these two old friends to catch up. They'd been unable to connect due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Shep, who has admitted to cheating on Taylor, also added that the restaurant they dined at, High Tyme on Sullivan’s, was the spot Cameran and Jason visited during their very first date. Cameran left a sweet comment as well, reminding Shep not to FaceTime her after eight at night as she "will be in the tub." She also approved of Shep and Taylor's relationship, even offering to write a wedding speech for them. Shep getting Cameran's approval on Taylor really means a lot to him. He values her opinions on everything, including the women he dates.
After a long year of not seeing each other, Shep and Cameran were so happy to get together. Shep had to film a season of Southern Charm without his best friend, and he couldn't see Cameran throughout the most difficult part of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their hangout session was long overdue. However, it helped both of them to realize just how important their friendship is.
