We were together for two years and saw one another a few times a week. He is 39 and I’m 32.
I thought we’d settle down but out of the blue he told me it was over, saying I constantly nagged him and because I am religious and he isn’t, we’d never see eye to eye.
I’ve licked my wounds and after five months, I met somebody new and he talks about marriage. He’s 40.
My ex made contact again, saying he wants to meet, but I’m dreading it because of how we split up.
The truth is, I do still love him.
Should I see him like I agreed?

It sounds as if you don’t think you were nagging him.
So be careful. You could be about to fall back into the same old rut, while jeopardising a perfectly good relationship.
