JOE LOLLEY sent out an epic tweet after he was named as Nottingham Forest’s Player of the Season.
The midfielder finished the season with 11 goals and 11 assist in all competitions, but his side missed out on the Championship play-offs.
The 26-year-old winger is sure to be of interest to Premier League clubs this summer.
On receiving his award, Lolley posted on Twitter: “Would also like to sincerely say thank you to absolutely none of my team mates, as this is an individual award, losers.”
Predictably, the hilarious tweet was praised by football fans.
One posted: “There’s no i in ‘team’, but there are five in ‘individual brilliance’.”
Michael Cooper described it as “f***ing brilliant”, while Ryan Tooley wrote “you’re my hero”.
Fans of his former club Huddersfield also passed on their congratulations, with many wishing he was still a Terrier.
