‘Last Mile’ Will Cost Big Money
STOCKVILLE – In meeting with the broadband committee this past week the selectboard learned that the town may be stuck with a hefty bill if residents want faster Internet access. Thanks to the efforts of the Mass. Broadband Institute’s (MBI) efforts known as Wired West, there is a fiber optic cable running through town along Route 32, however only certain places in town, known as “community anchors” have access to that cable.
