All-rounder Vijay Shankar and batsman Shubman Gill have been called for Australia and New Zealand tours after KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya were ordered home following the row over 'sexist' comments. Shankar will join the team before the start of the 2nd ODI in Adelaide and play in the New Zealand tour. Gill has been picked for the ODI and Twenty20 series in New Zealand.

Army Jawan Sombir was honeytrapped by an alleged Pakistani agent who introduced herself as a young student from Jammu named Anika Chopra. She sent intimate messages to lure the army personnel into sharing confidential information including pictures of weapons and location of army companies. Sombir will be in custody till January 18.

The RBI has approved the appointment of former bureaucrat Brahm Dutt as the non-executive chairman of Yes Bank. The bank had sent the proposal in this regard to the RBI last month.
