Yerevan to host beer fest
Yerevan will host the 3rd Beer Festival on August 19, the press service of Yerevan’s Municipality reports.
Part of the Yerevan Summer program, the Beer Festival is the third large-scale project after Yerevan with Taste and Smell and Yerevan TARAZFest, which are organized by the Tourism Department of the Yerevan Municipality. The festival has gained popularity with Yerevan residents and guests and is one of the major components of Yerevan tourist program, playing a role in tourism development.
The goal of the festival is to introduce society to the special features of Armenian beer and help Armenian breweries establish contacts.
Among the participants in this year’s festival are the Yerevan Brewery with such brands as “Kilikia”, “1952”, Gyumri and Aleksandropol breweries, with their brands “Gyumri”, «Aleksandropol», «Ararat», «Chezh», Kotayk brewery, Beer Academia lab-pub, Yanki pub, Karloff brewery-restaurant, Armenia’s Federation of Crayfish Eaters, BeerMania beer café and Navarar restaurant.
The Tourism Department of the Ministry of Economy of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) will take part in the festival with its pavilion “Karabakh: hidden treasures.”
A concert program and contests will be part of the festival.
