St Mary superintendent gets raise, contract extension
The system, in a news release, said the parish has continued to gain notice "as a highly progressive, successful school system that is currently ranked 17th among Louisiana's school district as recognized by school accountability formulas."
Armato says he's confident that the instructional and financial provisions in place will continue to allow the parish to rise and remain a top educational system in the state.
