CB David Amerson (foot) inactive for ninth straight game in Raiders finale
CARSON - Cornerback David Amerson said earlier this week he was finally feeling healthier. He said he hoped to play in the Raiders’ season finale “if they put me out there.”
They won’t. Amerson, who was limited in practice all week, is inactive for a ninth consecutive game today because of a foot injury that has lingered since Week 7.
Amerson signed a four-year extension with the Raiders before the 2016 season and was expected to be one of their top cornerbacks this season. He’ll finish the season having played in just six games with 18 tackles and four pass-breakups.
Rookie tackle David Sharpe, who missed Friday’s practice with an illness, is active.
