Jim Carrey is having a weird week. A few days after Carrey gave a bizarre, existentially bleak interview on the red carpet at a New York Fashion Week event, The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Carrey will star in a Showtime comedy series called Kidding. WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has blocked a Chinese government-financed firm's acquisition of an Oregon semiconductor maker on national security grounds. NEW YORK (AP) — Best Buy said it will no longer sell software made by the Russian company Kaspersky Labs. Moscow-based Kaspersky makes anti-virus software for computers. On Wednesday, the U.S. government banned federal agencies from using it over concerns about the company's ties to the Kremlin and Russian spy operatives. Kaspersky has denied any unethical ties with Russia or any government.
