Yeah it looked like things are starting to come together, didn't it? Noticeable that Sammut regularly threw that quick early pass to Williams, which gave him that extra bit of time, Kicked well too, as did Tommy, when he looks to find the grass rather than his rather tame bombs. Halves who chip in with a few tries are always very welcome too. George always has a few tries in him, but Wigan haven't scored many from 7 lately. Warrington are the best defence organized team our WAKEY fans have seen this season. They are without doubt the best trained at/in two areas, fans on our forum have recognized their near perfect holding down times with also thired man on top late in/on etc. But mainly their willingness in their final ten to give away a penalty, several on the bounce of needed knowing their extra training on goal line D will see them through. Halifax away. Not the draw we would have wished for, really wanted a home game. Certainly, if we are taking the cup seriously it is a game we can win. Could the TV game, I suspect.

I think it was clear from yesterday that our top priority (excluding replacements for departing players) should be a right side second rower. Isa's handling skills are dreadful and he was unable to provide the outside backs with decent ball.
